Glen Paul Mendes a White hawk Shaman aka ( WhiteHart)
Born in a village called Hadleigh in Essex, his mother Vera Popplewell who can trace that lineage to Stambridge in the 15th century ( see Links for Heraldry)
Glen is the eldest son of an eldest son and on the death of his father was given a rose Gold ring with an pale green opal set upon it and told it must be handed down as a sign of family lineage and is always passed from father to eldest son On his Fathers George Mendes go back to the 13th century to a Spanish Duke the Mendes family whose branch was originally Jewish fled to Portugal under the ruling of Torquemada and converted to Christianity. Glens Grandmother was a Spiritual Healer and clairvoyant with strong physical features reminiscent from the Red Indian race the lacota which she often made reference to.
Glens Grandfather was a mystery he apparently left his family home on a Turkish boat bound for London, holding a gold topped walking cane and maintained an air of superiority ruling his new wife and his Children till they eventually managed to force him to a confrontation and then he left, never to be seen again.
Glen has maintained a natural interest and talent for expressing the energy of nature into an art form, his first and earliest inspiration was passing Stonehenge on the way to Cornwall on a family holiday as a child the impact of the Sun and image of the pagan temple shining threw the car window burning into his retina never left him to this day he visits ancient sacred sites in persute of miraculous events, over the years Glen met at these sites many wise and wonderful pagan spiritual adventurer's way seers and romantics all adding to the wonder of the unknowable,becoming a mystery himself in the process, taking photos then drawings, after a while of many observations of these natural and man made sites, Glen noticed the way the landscape, the sacred sites woodlands animals seemed to take on a magical connection synchronous events were commonplace and nature had a way of communicating to a simple way of observing esp with the rare occurrence of animals who in the early days of mans development taught us much and still do.
This journey changed him he developed a relationship with the Earth Goddess Mother earth and her children that heightened his senses , intuition and visions, being a sensitive and an Artist is a challenge and learning to become a Shaman is a life's commitment. many are labeled Autistic/ Dyslexic and Glen's childhood was fraught with social anxiety disorder syndrome a lonely existence.
Vision Quest
Glen achieved a rite of passage vision quest in 2009 in Wales, guided but alone connecting with the forces of nature finally gaining the acknowledgement needed to perform powerful work.
Glen was given the medicine name White hart the journey of Bambi to the Stag ( see link earth encounters )
Glen achieved the Star Maiden Shamanic practitioner course at Eagles Wing
Glen has now acknowledged as a hawk Shaman ( see Links )
On his travels Glen was taught how to perform rituals to enable him to connect with nature to celebrate the seasons and led to an interest in Shamanism it became clear that early man was changing the landscape to honour and resemble mother earth GAIA. Glen theorised that the stones and the Ley Lines that linked them were some form of earth magnetic energy and that placing the stones created a circuit that helped at certain times of the day or year to give healing, the revelation of this impacted upon him tremendously and he pondered how he could show this as an art form Stones became far more than inanimate objects they became vibrational conduits.
Ritual Blessing
Glen creates and requests a blessing at the time of the New Moon and the eve of a full moon for the stones that Mother earth beguiles, they are smudged with Sage and activated energetically as either a totem Animal or as Runes.
The Runes are blessed with the Odin Norse energies and are activated to the vortex of potential.

Glen loves to be commissioned for specific requests and will inscribe a totem animal of your choice along with a Bind Rune Script the vibrational energy which will be breathed into the requested piece that can be for love, Health, Protection, Abundance, Adventure, Ambition, New Business Success, and of course for Good Luck!

Glen Inspired a good friend via a Tarot card reading to start a Theatre group it was a transformational evening well spent and well guided the theatre group is called Angel In Pocket Productions and Glen when time permits has added his Artistic touches and Advice and Graphics to help promote the Shows.
